Logs & Fire Wood
NEW GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS ON BURNING WET WOOD & COAL
Homes with open fires and wood burning stoves will no longer be able to burn wet wood and coal, under new government rules. Sales of wet wood and coal - the two most polluting fuels - will be phased out in England from February 2021 to help lower air pollution.
Don’t get cold this winter! Paul a'Barrow Tree Services in association with Storrington Sawmills, provide a government approved and an affordable solution to this new law, so there is no need to ditch your lovely wood burning fire.
We produce high quality seasoned Kiln-Dried firewood. Kiln drying the wood plays a vital role in bringing down the moisture content of the wood to 20% or lower. Firewood logs with moisture levels this low create a more efficient, hotter fire with far less smoke residue.
Purchasing Kiln Dried Firewood ensures you will be fully complying with new government regulations.
